My recent Christmas stay at Le Clos Saint-Louis was a delightful escape into the charm of Old Quebec City. Nestled on the quaint Rue Saint-Louis, the hotel's Victorian architecture and serene ambiance provided the perfect backdrop for a festive getaway that felt both cozy and romantic. The self check-in was seamless, and the staff were exceptionally helpful, making our experience all the more enjoyable. Our room on the fourth floor was truly charming, boasting delightful furniture and stunning views of the historic architecture just outside our windows. Despite the steep stairs, the enchanting atmosphere was well worth the climb. The location allowed us to explore nearby attractions, including the remarkable Ursuline Convent-a museum that beautifully showcases the rich educational heritage of Quebec. Dining at the charming Bella Restaurant next door enriched our experience, with its exquisite menu that perfectly complemented our romantic getaway. I couldn't recommend this hidden gem more for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the heart of Old Quebec, whether for a couple's retreat or a tranquil solo escape. I would return in a heartbeat!
